Simply remove the QuickSafe™ backstrap — without it the pistol cannot be fired. Walther QuickSafe™ is maximum security made easy.

Thanx for the information. I'm going to see if any local shops carry the PPS.

Nobody locally had the PPS so I contacted Walther and had a nice conversation with them about the PPS. They said the 9MM and .40S&W will be available in New York State by late September.

I have the P99c, which I love, so will wait to see whether the PPS is easier to carry, before I decide. Looking forward to a report from whoever is first to get it.

What I initially like about the PPS, until I can put it in my hand, was it's concealability, the finger grooves in the grip, the interchangable backstraps and the light double action trigger (6lbs). I had a severe hand injury to my shooting hand, so only a few handguns will now fit it perfectly.

    Yep,

I bought the 9mm day before yesterday. Comes with two different size grip backstraps and 3 mags (6-7-8 round capacity.)

Its a very well made and tight pistol. Excellent groupings and no hiccups after 100 rounds of practice ammo amd 8 rounds of +P. Gonna be a joy to carry until this fall. I plan to trade it back to the store for the 40 cal.

    stacking?
    etc
