Love my SP101 but I don't carry it much. It's a great gun to carry into the woods with full house .357 and snake shot. For an every day carry for your wife I'm sure the Lady Smith will be a good choice.

    Here's my Sp101...

Recently found the perfect excuse and funding to buy the SP101 I've long wanted. After 25-plus years of owning a Security Six and two Single Six's, to say I'm happy with Ruger wheelguns is an understatement. The SP101 is no exception.

The only quirk I have found with my SP-101 is a design flaw. When you open the cylinder and attempt to dump the empties, if the empty cartridge is in the wrong position, it hits the mound that the cylinder latch is in, and you can't get the empties out, unless you rotate the cylinder abit.

    SP101

Girlfriend keeps on on her side of the bed all the time. It's a 3" and in .38, but I have no worries about loading it with +P+. Sturdy as can be. The trigger job is easy, drop in a Wolff spring kit and polish two or three places and it turns out great. Heavy weight makes it great to shoot with +P+, but it's no pocket carry gun. When I did use it for CCW, it was in a belt holster.

I've had anSP101 in357Mag for about 2years and really like it .Super accurate and easy recoil. I carry it in a Simply Rugged pancake OWB.Very good combo for carry in the woods.

My SP101 was my first cc weapon. I still occasionally carry it. It's wonderfully reliable. For me, it lines up perfectly every time.

I fired mine today for the first time with .357s...I must say, I was impressed with how well it handled them (Fiocchi 125)...I still stoke it with Gold Dot 135 +p but nice to know it can handle the big stuff...

I already have a snubbie for CCW (S&W642), so the SP101 I want is the 3"or4" ,6-shot .32H&R. Just because.

Heck yes. I love mine. For concealed carry, it disappears completely. It's quite amazing.

I love mine so much I gave it to my most valued treasure, my daughter when she graduated from college four years ago.

I'd had the hammer milled off and the gun converted to DAO with a nice smooth trigger job. Heck she's been shooting that gun since she was 12 years old. I sure as hell wouldn't give her junk to defend her life.

My SP-101 has become my regular carry gun. I t goes wherever I go, and when I squeeze the trigger, I'm confident it's going to go bang!

    I love my SP101!!!

I want to send it off to Gemini Customs for some work. Don't have the money for it though at the moment.
