Rohrbaugh!!!
Just paid $600 and traded my 642 for a factory new stealth model. Very worth it!! I love the 642, but it has lost its place in the linup, so it has to go. Super psyched that I can throw this in my pocket when I can't otherwise conceal my G36. Will have it in a week!!

Welcome to R9 ownership.
That gun has now evolved thru small subtle changes such that early occasional teething problems seem to have been pretty much licked.
Despite the criticism of Rohrbaugh's comment - ''carry a lot shoot a little'' - that is IMO a valid recommendation for a small gun in that cal ... such that it is not used as a range ''toy'' but a very concealable and useful tool for use in extremis.
Get it shooting - break it in (tho that IMO is even less necessary these days) ... and just be sure you have the food it likes best. Mine is stoked with GD 124's (std pressure) and runs great with those.

yeah, I plan to put a few mags worth through it just to see what it feels like, but I have no intention of shooting it often. I have pleanty of fun shooting my M&P 327.

OK....you stole the R9 you know. I paid 9 bills for mine. Is that a new gun? Well, at any rate, you goin enjoy it. Mine ate the ball and the hollow pts I fed it. And your right on....concealability is not a problemo.
Enjoy. There is something special about owning a fine crafted hand gun.
PS Oh...sorry....I read again....your traded you 642....still a good deal.

I love my R9 and have found it runs fine with Gold Dot 124 and Winchester 147 JHP. Which is weird because other owners have said they can't get 147s to run, but some others they run just fine.

They're great guns! Not real fun to shoot, but superb for what they're made for... Having a handful of 9mm in your pocket when you cant carry otherwise.
Enjoy!

I run 115 grain Winchester's in mine and never had a problem. Its a nice little gun for sure. Pricey, but you only live once. Sure is an easy 9mm to conceal!!

Redneck, I hear ya, I have a PM9 AND a Rhorbaugh. There is not a whole lot of difference in the size of the 2 guns. But I will probably never sell mine, just because they are rare to come by.
