New Pocket Pistol
My brother called me to ask if I wanted to go with him to the range/gun store.. he wanted to get something new. Well.. Of Course I went :biggrin2:
after looking at a bunch of guns, he decided on the Walther PPK .380 in SS (absolutely stunning gun). then we noticed two little toys on the shelf.. a pair of "Cobra Firearms" model CA380 autos. in .380 like the Walther.
One was Chrome, the other Blue. for $104.00 each.
after checking them out, we both got one.. I took the Chrome one he took the blue. since he just got 2 boxes of .380 for the Walther we got our stuff and moved to the range. now for 100 bucks I did not expect much from these pistols.
we were joking that if they managed to go through a whole mag without jamming or exploding we got our money's worth..:image035:
we put a box of 50 through each one without a single hiccup.!
Nice looking gun, it this new or used? Looks new.
Looks a lot like a Davis .380.
These are NIB..

Pretty cool find, for a hundred bucks thats awesome. If it continues to shoot reliable that will be a great pocket gun.
I've wondered about those. Thought about picking one up, but kinda though you get what you pay for, and would end up being a paperweight. How's the accuracy/recoil/saftey/ on those?
I've owned a Bryco .380 for years and have put many, many rounds through it. The pot-metal framed guns will shoot for a while with standard pressure ammo, but +p or hot loads will break them. Also, IIRC, the safety on them is very flimsy. DO NOT carry them with a round in the chamber! They make a fun range gun, and could serve as a SD piece if you remember you have to rack the slide before putting it into use.
just my .02:bier:
