My local shop has a 40 cal CZ RAMI with one extended mag (no flush fit) for 399. It fits my hand quite well, but... mags are a bit cost prohibitive. Is this a good deal? If it had the flush fit mag I probably would have brought it home already.
If it was NIB, I would be posting pics and bragging about my steal of the century. This pistol has been carried some and has the (light) holster wear to prove it. More wear on the grip area than anything though honestly.
Unfortunately it is a consignment gun, which means I can't really talk my guy down any. Btw this is an alloy frame gun not a poly.
I definitely think it's a fair price, and considering how rare those are it might even be a good deal. That said, a RAMI in .40 would not be my preference - that caliber in that small gun is going to be a handful.
Not the deal of the century but not a bad price. The alloy-framed model is the desirable one (I believe the polymer-framed model was discontinued for cause), and they're in really short supply. CZ models in general are so popular right now that there's not a lot of discounting going on, so I doubt you'd see a new one even for $500 anywhere. I say buy it!

Yeah, sitting here thinking about, I'd be mad at myself if I saw that and didn't buy it.
Next question then becomes where can I get mags for it cheap(ish)?
I haven't looked real hard, but the cheapest I've seen are Bud's and ebay, both for around $40 with free shipping.
I would call the price fair, possibly hedging in your (the buyer's) direction.
The mags are Mec Gar. The Original CZ Forum - Index occasionally has a deal. I got 3, 14rd mags for under $30.
The alloy frame is preferred. .40 is more stout than 9mm in any pistol. I shoot the caliber just fine from a small PPS.
In a word, Yes.....those things are hard to find, especially in 9mm.
