    Awwwwww its so cute...

And other things you don't want your girlfriend saying about strange guns you bring home.

I went to my local gun emporium today and saw something that I have wanted for 2-3 years.

I passed one up about a year ago and have been kicking myself in the pants ever since.

    Well anyway, here it is:

    Bond Arms "Cowboy Defender" .45LC and/or .410 2-1/2" shotshell

I wish it could take a full 3" shell but I can buy that barrel and I think 3 00 pellets of buckshot still will do the job.

She is L-O-U-D and recoil is a tad harsh. My buddy bought (c'mon...didn't you know it was "New Gun Day" sheesh!) a .44 4" Ruger Redhawk today and that beast loaded with Federal 300gr. hard cast slugs felt tame compared to this wrist rocket.

I am grinning ear to ear!

"How could you not call that cute? Even a guy would have to say that's cute. Its got the little curvy handle and then it swoops in. I don't know, its just little and cute!" - My wife

Sorry your gun is cute man. Still packs a punch though! I wouldn't mind having one myself. Have you seen those suspender holsters they make for them? I think Midway has them.

War is not the ugliest of things. Worse is the decayed state of moral feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which he cares for more than his personal safety, is a miserable creature who has no chance of being free. -J.S. Mill

Very nice... if you don't mind me asking: What did you pay for it?

    $369.99 out the door!

I thought it was a decent deal considering what they go for on the online auction sites and what MSRP is.

I need to get a holster for it now.

I haven't been looking for one of these before, but I'm thinking that is a good price. And as far as a holster, I would go with a pocket holster. It would be a very nice size for a backup gun.

    I should have specified...

I want a good leather pocket holster.

Right now I am carrying it in my Uncle Mike's pocket holster I carry my S&W M60-3 in. I know its cheap but it has really worked great for the revo...but I can see the need for a formed holster for the derringer.

    Noisy Cricket

I would have nicknamed it the "Noisy Cricket" but my Freedom Arms "Cassuls Improvement" already got that title:
