Rock Island Armory 1911. I really wanted a base platform to work with and cheap. The fact that it is also a .45acp is a definite plus.

Thinking of an officer's size 1911 - perhaps a Rock Island Tactical Compact.

Another idea is an H&K P30.

I get to answer this question twice! I just picked up a P-220 Compact SAS yesterday!

While talking with John at Pro-Loads this afternoon about a Les Baer I have on order with him, he nonchalantly ask if I had seen the home page of his web sight.

Now I have a LE6920 coming soon too.

You would think there would be thousands of them available cheap but I have not seen any.
Just found one yesterday at a pawnshop for $168. I'll be there tomorrow with cash in hand. Gonna buy it for my daughter, she wants to get her CCW thought this might be just right for her. Next one I buy for myself will be a NAA BlackWidow 22mag. Then I probable pickup another S&W Sigma 9VE.

I just bought a nice tricked out 870 mag tactical shotgun which Im picking up next week. Ive got a nice expense check coming in 2 weeks which is going a long way toward a romanian AK too.

I think we are all on schedule to be well armed if Hillary gets elected.

I also have a nice old school Colt detective special on layaway at Gander Mt. that I hope to pick up by the end of Oct.
