Hey Q,
Probably the new Kahr PM45. I like the diminutive size and weight!
What we've got here is failure to communicate.

I am buying a HK USP .45 in a couple weeks and probaly a USPc .40 or XDsc40 for the wife. We will both be taking the CCP class next month. Those are not really our next guns though, they will be our first.

Kimber Compact Stainless (or if the shop still has it when I can afford it, the CDP Compact......they have one up there BARELY used for $850) but knowing my luck I will go with the regular compact
edit: forgot to mention the why part. I am looking for something with a little more power than my PM9 and also want the accuracy of a 4 inch barrel but still carryable

I've been seriously been looking at another Springfield 1911, preferably a TRP. I have a Loaded Champion Lightweight and a Para Slim Hawg that I like but would really like to get a full-size. Unfortunately the price might be out of my league now that I picked myself up a girlfriend. With her in the picture, I might downgrade a little to a Loaded full-size possibly chambered in 9mm.

I'm leaning heavily towards a Kimber in Ultra or Compact size....
Might be an M1 Garand though
further down the list
HK USP .45
Colt Mustang
Barrett 82A1...ok ok so that might be a lottery gun

Well lets see, I actually went and finally purchased the new deer rifle that I have been (you said firearm you didn't say it had to be a handgun) looking at for almost a year now.
Its a Tikka T3 in .25 - 06 with a Leupold VXIII 4x - 14x scope. I can't wait to go shoot it.
Next on my list is a Weatherby side-by-side in .28 gauge.
After that hmmm........who knows!

As with all statements I've made and All that I will make, please check your local laws to verify accuracy. (and if i'm wrong let me know as I like to be right in the future) After all I'm just some goofball posting on an internet forum.

I thought the XDsc would be perfect for my wife, but she is unsure of the grip length after visiting the gun shop last night. The Kahr's, EMP and other micro 1911's were too small in the grip for her comfort. Therefore, we are leaning towards the USPc. Slightly larger in length and height but still small enough to fit in her purse. Plus she can get all her fingers on the grip without a goofy looking extention like the XD. But most importantly she can get the slide in stainless and it has a manual safety. She did not feel comfortable with some of the other types of safeties or lack thereof. DAO is a no go with her.
For my choice, I like the fit and feel of the USP v1 and am a bit of an HK fan. Not a fan of the glock. I like the XD a lot but I prefer the manual safety of the USP for CC. They are reliable. They look good and they are cheaper then most well made 1911's. Although I intend to put a couple of those in the safe eventually.
Well, there you have it. Those are our reasons.

CZ 2075 Rami polymer in 9 mm
First off Greetings to all, this is my first post here:
My next handgun will be the CZ 2075 Rami P in 9mm. I now have a small 380 for discreet summer carry. The Rami will allow me to step up a notch to 9mm for about the same size and weight as the 380.
My favorite guns are CZ's and Rugers. Hey I am frugal (cheap).

I would love to get my hands on a S&W Model 19 with a 2.5 inch barrel.
