    New Addition to the family

I just added a new addition to the family. The new little brother is just that - the Glock G19 - behind his big brother - the Glock G23C. I brought him home last night.

I will be bringing them both to the range tomorrow and let them both blow off some steam...

Or just get the G32 barrel and swap them out.

Congrats on the new addition. It seems as though once you get one polymer, they seem to multiply.

Also, I forgot to mention that the new addition has night sights, which the bigger brother does not have.

I'm really looking forward to taking them both out to the range.

    Yep, there like Gremlins.

Let us know how you like the G23 in comparison to the G19.

Just got back from the range with both the G23C and the new G19. Ammo: 200 rounds Winchester 9mm 115 gr. FMJ, and 100 rounds CCI .40 S&W 165 gr. FMJ. I had cleaned the G23C after every trip to the range, and the G19 yesterday. Targets: Full size silhouettes at approximately 21 to 25 feet.

First impression: This was one of the best out of the box guns I've shot. It was as good, if not better, than my full size SIG P226-40. Every bullet shoot was not only on target, but within the second ring (second ring is, top to bottom, 11 inches), and my pattern was no bigger than 8 inches.

After shooting all 200 rounds of 9mm ammo in the G19, I shoot 100 rounds of .40 S&W ammo in my G23C. I saw no difference in recoil, and very, very little difference in target placement or accuracy. They are both excellent weapons and I'm very happy with my newest purchase.

Gotta like the "compact" GLOCK! I've got RACKS of handguns from which to choose. 90% of the time...it's a G19 on my belt. I'll likely KEEP the rest of 'em. But I'll CARRY my GLOCK.

    Congrats on your Nice Choices!
