Prices on an HK USPc in 40S&W
I was doing a little bit of shopping around today, looking for the best price on an HK USPc in 40. I was quoted a price of 775, but a special price of 699. This doesn't include night sites. I have a couple more companies looking into ordering one for me.
Can anyone let me know about how much you would expect to pay for this particular firearm. It seemed a little on the expensive side to me, considering the MSRP is $$799.00. On the other hand, I was quoted a price of 965.95 for a Kimber Custom TLEII/RL from the same store, which seemed like a really good price.
THanks for the input,
Jim

For what its worth I really like my USP .40 full size. Also , have you priced out / looked at the 2000 HK? They seem easier to conceal from the looks of em.

Can't Carry Anyway...
Rocky,
I'm stuck in NJ for at least the next year (until I get out of college) so I can't carry anyway. And for whatever reason, I've wanted an HK USP as long as I can remember. So, I'm buying one of those first. I'm definately looking at the P2000 or P2000K for a later purchase and CCW later in life after I'm out of this state.

Lower prices are out there right now than historically - the USP being discontinued from what I understand led to pretty widespread clearances at the big wholesalers.
A fair price would be anything under $730 IMO - the wholesale even on clearance before shipping was a bit over six and a half.
Driver carries less than $45 worth of remorse.

Wow, my Kimber Custom TLEII without the rail was just $775. Another $190 for a rail seems a bit high....

Well, it's tactical - and who can put a price on that?

There is a reason the USP 40 isn't discounted much. Of al the handguns I've ever fired it is easily the finest. The ONLY downside is the USP doesn't conceal well and the Compact isn't much better. H&K doesn't apologize for this. Go shoot one and you'll see why $700 to 800 doesn't seem unreasonable. The Germans still know how to make fine firearms!!

I got my full size 45 for 685 so your price is right, they both are the same price since then.USP line is not discontinued, its the p7 series and stainless USPs are no longer imported, but there are still plenty to be had if you want stainless.
