    Pocket Carry Picture Requests

Hey guys in response to my thread yesterday I would like to ask for some pictures so I have some size reference so I can do some more research before I go out and start looking for guns to rent and hold.....

I would really like to see all the weapons together but I think that's a long shot maybe the gun laying in a hand would be just as good.....

    Heres the list request list:

    NAA Guardian .380
    Kel-Tec P3AT
    Keltec P11
    Keltec PF9
    Bersa Thunder .380
    Walther PPK
    S&W 642

    Thanks Guys
    Josh

jCook5003: If you look at my post "PF-9 everything I expected", well you will see a reply from ak-kev and he has posted some very nice pictures that I am sure you will find most helpful.

    Josh,

Go here and look down on the page for the hot link that says " Click here for a visual chart showing the relative size & weight of our pistols and those of our competitors. Chart courtesy of Robert Oremland."

There is a good size chart comparing many small Pistols and a few Revolvers in that pdf. Many of them are on your list.

    Kel-tec P3AT in a K-rat. The K-Rat can be found on this page, http://www.palehorseholsters.com/pocket.htm

Here is a pic showing the G32 and G380, the 380 looks much larger because of the angle it isn't all that much bigger in reality.

Here is a chart showing the different sizes, I think if you save it as a photo you can blow it up to view it.

+1. I actually used the PDF version of that chart and printed it to scale on a plotter at work. Only thing it lacks is a good representation of width. No comparison will ever beat holding the prospective guns for yourself, and if lucky, being able to fire them side x side.

I will try to answer your question as far as the Bersa 380 Thunderer and the Kel-Tec P3AT go.

I used a dollar bill and my hand to illistrate size and also a side by side comparison..1st, the Kel Tec.

    With the dollar bill

    In my hand

My pocket holster of choice is a Galco and the numbers on the holster are: D519H and PH436 (to help you in checking this holster out)

Now the Bersa Thunderer (this is the 16 round unit)

    The two together

Now side by side so you can see the thickness of both

Hope this helps in your decision making. Good luck!

Man that Bersa is a pocket full isn't it? I don't think I could bend over with that thing in my front pocket. With that many rounds it muct be a staggered mag and this will add a great amount to thickness as you can see by the photo above. I first bought a Sig P232 for pocket carry but it was to large for anything but cargo pants. But it is a very high quality firearm!! If you want pics between the 280 and 32 showing thickness just let me know.
