I've been carrying a Glock 22 and a Springfield XDsub-compact .40 for work, so I'm not real used to external safeties. The other day I picked up a 9mm Cobra Derringer as an absolute last chance weapon. If the caca really hits the fan I'll have 2 rounds on me if I wind up disarmed by a bg. The problem I'm having is that the safety on the Cobra takes so much force to disengage it's almost impossible to take off with two hands, there's no way to do it with one. Has anyone else had any luck with reducing the pressure behind the safety? How safe is it to carry a Cobra with the safety off? Thanks to anyone with any info.
