    Blue Book of Guns preview

Just passing on this link...in my search for a pre lock 342PD I found this link to a preview of the Blue Book of Guns. Google book search is a cool tool.

I went to the electronic blue book some time ago and its ok for the book , a little aquard to work but ok . The bundled program for inventorying your personal guns is crap tho . To be honest i tend to check gunbroker and like sites for a more current and " fair market value " nowdays . I have not played with the preview link provided , just an opinion on blue book and other resources out there .
Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .

Blue Book is nice, but I agree with a previous poster. I look at GunBroker, AuctionArms and GunsAmerica to get an idea about price. I find the sites to be a more accurate method.

There is a caveat to this. If you are looking for value for insurance purposes, I use whichever is higher but be prepared to back up your value with your agent.
