The P9 will carry better, thats about it though.

You compared the Kahr P9, a 9mm, with the Glock 36, a .45 caliber. I am surprised that you didn't compare the Kahr P45 instead, which is a .45 like the Glock. I would consider these two to be more directly competitive.
I think the closest thing to the Kahr P9 is the new Walther PPS - both are single stack polymer 9mm guns and are quite thin.
Kel tec makes the PF9, single stack 9mm thats close to the kahr in terms of size.

Leaving caliber out of the discussion, I think the Kahr is a better pistol. I have owned a Glock 36 in the past, and I own a Kahr MK9 now. The Kahr is much thinner, and I prefer a thinner pistol. Also, I think the Kahr trigger is much smoother.
I certainly do like Glocks, I still own a 26, but I like my Kahr much more.
In the end though, the Khar about $200 more, so it depends on where your priorities are.

Kel-tec also makes a P-11 which is a very compact 9mm that holds 12 rounds. Carry mine in front pocket or on my left side as a back-up.
Both are thin...
My Glock-36 is very easy to conceal...but comparing 9mm with the G-36 (.45)?
I'll keep the G-36!![]()

I guess what I was trying to get at is it better to carry a tiny gun with less power or a larger gun with more power...

I did not answer the poll because frankly it is far to simplistic . Issues such as build , normal clothing , carry mode affect the choice , as does single vs double stack ( how many times do you plan on missing lol ) . The triggers of the guns are vastly different as are the grip angles some will shoot one or the other better .
Carry what you have confidence in . For me its Kahr because it fits MY needs the best . I have owned a few glocks that i got in trade , never kept one any longer than it took to make a buck on it . Glock is not for me .
