I'll take it. Let me know where to send the cash ...

Good looking pistol, there. Good value, to be sure.

    Love it.
Good sights. Flared mag well. Checkered front strap. Commander style. Real nicely fit beavertail. Unique grips...what's not to like?

    Oh and unbelievable price.
    Shoot it in good health.

What holster are you going to buy for it...a Galco maybe?

I know it says "Colt" on it, but...

I notice that your address is in the Phillipines. I have read that there are many informal gun manufacturing shops in the Phillipines which make copies of brand name guns.

I have looked at quite a few Colt 1911s, and there are some things about your Commander that look different. Some of the dimensions and shapes of parts are not the same as in Colts I have seen.

Is this a genuine Colt, or a copy of a Colt? Does it work reliably? Inquiring minds want to know.

Pogo, I have no idea, I bought it used from my wife's employer's body guard, The frame and slide are Colt but I'm positive the rest aren't. Yes they have a factory here that tries to duplicate many U.S. firearms and they are quite good but upon close inspection you can tell the are a knock - off of the original. The Philippines houses quite a few 1911's left over from the war also, I wish I could get my hands on one of those.

Because it is in the Phillippines, the high cost of shipping and customs comes in consideration. To off set this, I am bidding $150, Deal or No Deal?

Hey Rhome, my best friend moved off the planet and left me some guns; I will be willing to trade for the .45.
