Taurus Judge
I have recently been infected with newgunitis, specifically for a lightweight, 3" cylinder Taurus judge. I am trying to figure out a good price for one. The Taurus website just lists the MSRP - forget that. None of the auction sites have the 3" cylinder lightweights listed, just the heavyweight 21/2". Can anyone give me a good idea what I can expect to pay for the lightweight 3" cylinder Judge?

The price difference should be much if anything.

Right, I wouldn't think so either..... there was talk of the 3" chamber at one time but I don't know if it's been done yet.

The 3" chamber has been announced by Taurus.

If they get the vehicle carry law fixed in Ohio I will have one. Now your CC must be on your person in a holster or one of several convoluted box, gun rug, locked yada yada yada options.

There seemed to be several for sale at the big gun show in Tulsa yesterday. They ranged from mid 300s to 500, depending on barrel length and blue vs stainless. I did not inquire about chamber length, the look like a formidable weapon.

410 through an ultra light frame? Sounds painful. Effective, but painful.
Those micro handles and spongy grips are very hard for me to control. My friend's .44mag with that set up beats me to the point of tears. Nearly impossible to find after market grips for them too.

More info via a Taurus video can be found here...

The only thing I do not like about this gun is that it's name and marketing includes the statement of "The Judge".
A jury of ones alledged peers may not be impressed by that nomenclature.

These are very fun to shoot. Only problem is targets don't last long. 000 is also pretty cool to shoot, out of these.
Beware of the lightweight, might double check into that. IMHO.
