    Caracal 9mm

    How... curious.

    Video on Military Times

Looks interesting. Little of this from the Glock (trigger safety, low bore axis), little of that from (I think) the M&P (grip angle and shape, could be wrong), Baby/Desert Eagle-like sky-ward ejection of spent cases, etc. I'm always curious about new up-and-coming manufacturers. Has anyone heard anything at all about the weapon?

    Interesting...

His description of the disassembly is rather comical.

The Middle East as a market? I just pray that if Caracal makes it to production, it doesn't find its way into the hands of an enemy wishing to inflict harm upon our boys and gals over there.

Hmmm didn't mention the United States or Israel....the former being the largest single market for his product in the world.....

Hmmm - is it just me, but seems like after SA came out with the XD's - oh and include the S&W M&P's ..... there really is not any more room (practically) for more platforms?? Not so sure even the SKYY will be overly successful tho I guess in the ''small guns'' area there is always some room for variety.

Only thing I could see making it at all attractive would be price - and if that was below competition then the gun would have to be still solid reliable.

Chris, I noticed you hadn't been on for a while... better add the Ruger RS9 to the platform list.

Hey Sam - yes forgot that.!

Certainly tho - reiterating - can't see too much room for anything else new, unless totally revolutionary - and that'd be hard to imagine.

I realize it was a gun show but he had his finger on the trigger way to often for me!

That low bore axis and grip looks like it would be a comfy shooter.

    Hello, Y'all!

The Caracal has been designed by an austrian former police officer, Wilhelm Bubits, now a firearm designer.
He designed the Steyr M9 and some accessories for Glock before working for Caracal.

The Caracal is the offspring of the M9
