It's like sending your Ferrari to Italy for a tune-up! Marc is an artist in the truest sense of the word. And just think, when you get it back, you can enjoy watching any "S&W RULES"-type turn green with envy at the sight of a genuinely beautiful Ruger. Well Done!

It's a 4" stainless. I'm having everything on the GP100 package done except the porting or bobbed hammer. The gun was near perfect stock so I'm really curious how much he can improve it,Originally Posted by Sigsauer

It's a Ruger revolver 357. It was replced by the GP100. Although they feel quite different.

Cold Steel Recon, I prefer the tanto version. I have used this as a carpeting knife for 3 houses (I had nothing else as sharp and didn't want to go to home depot again) and it is still as sharp as the day I got it. a little big, but it works great.

You aren't going to find it any time soon. And for the same reason we don't have to worry about there being only one Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. We wait with anticipation for the the next...

I ran across the same thing here a while back. I found a GP-100 that really appealed to my sense of "need". It wa a used gun, re-imported by CIA bun not like most. This one was in excellent shape, shot well, accurate enough for the itended use, and factory DAO. I decided, after all the hype to let Mark have a go at it. I would never have believed that he could do such a transformation. The trigger pull is amazing....like running your finger through water smooth. He worked the trigger itself, rounding the edges and end so I could shoot for hours without finger discomfort. He tightened up the factory freeplay in the cylinder and it is like a bank vault now. He reshaped and coated the front sight to hit dead on at 25yards with most 158gr rounds. Like many 3" GP-100's the barrel was a tick off center when screwed in, he corrected that. He recut the crown for accuracy. He also did some things that I asked for, like removing the safety warning from the barrel and the CIA imprint from the frame. I had already dehorned the gun, which he commented positively on. He then bead blasted the gun. I am supremely happy with the result. The result..much more accurate, super DAO trigger pull, shoots to point of aim at 25yards and the bead blast non glare finish is perfect. I asked him why he did not put his logo on the gun. His remark "With such a clean gun by removing all that you did, I decided to not add my logo".
