    NO! Not a Glock!

For some reason tonight I was surfing the web (window shopping).
Something stuck out of the crowd tonight. A Glock 36. I am getting a bug for some lay away payments.
I have searched for threads here, and I have found some info on them. The range in Little Rock has Glocks, but I don't know if they have a G36. I think tomorrow I will go down there, and rent one if they do. I feel like I need to shoot a .45 ACP the way things are going in my life right now.

Right now I carry my .32 H&R Magnum to say my daughter's 3rd BD party (today), and other places that a little more descreat carry is called upon. :)
Then again now that it is chilly outside, I am carrying my XD9 Service in a Galco High Ride OWB (It is covered with shirt and jacket ((Concealed))). That holster is about a week old, but I can feel it breaking in. I actually love the way that gun feels at about 3:30 with that holster. I bet a constant year of using that holster, and it will feel really nice.

Well, just thought I'd share the impulse. I have a feeling that I will like the small .45 cal.
Let's hope that the wife did not hide the Credit Card today
    Thanks.

I don't think it will be as slim. I haven't compared specs though.

Eventually no matter how hard we all try to resist most everyone gives them a try and finds out they are not as bad as they had thought. I was a SIG person, but one day I shoot a Glock 23C and really enjoyed shooting it and had a great grouping. Now I have a 23C and a 19.

Definitely recommend you shoot any gun you are looking at before you buy it, just like you are planning.

I'm trying to decide between the G30 and the G36. I'm leaning toward the G36.

Does the G36 have the same length grip as the G23? I'm looking into the G23, but wouldn't mind the G36 if its about the same length.

The G36 is shorter in the grip.

According to the Glock Buyer's Guide, height on the G36 is 4.76 in. (that includes the chunky baseplate on the magazine) vs. a height of 5.00 in. for the G23.

Is there much of a weight difference between the two Glocks?
