For the most part, yes. Some Para's do get a little weird though.

Pretty much. The outer dimensions on all but the Sig line of 1911s, the Springfield EMP??, and probably Para's new 9mm the PDA, should be about the same. Unless they have a radically shaped dust cover or slide shape. IIRC some of the STI guns have blockier slides that may cause holster grief.

There is a lot of differance in holsters also. Some are a lot looser than others. A Sparks' holster is gun specific more than a Galco. Both are good holsters and I have both.

I have a Kimber Custom Target II and a C-Tac holster. I was shooting my friends Kimber Royal II at the range. I holstered it in my holster. When the buzzer went off, I went to draw and couldnt get the gun outta the holster. Good thing we were only practicing.
So to answer you question....SORT OF....in a small amount.
His Royal II fit my holster, but was just more snug than mine.

The first rule of gunfighting should be to know when the gunfight starts - being the last one to get the news certainly won't put the odds in your favor.
