    Sig Owners. I understand.

After a shooting parctice at my local gunshop/range, I saw one of those previously-owned P-226 and I asked to check it out. Oh Lord, it felt goooood! I love the trigger pull on both double and single action, feels great in my hand and I could tell it is built with care and craftsmanship. And the price was $585 which I don't know if it was good or not but darn I was tempeted.

Me: "(insert pleasure sounds here) Oh man... great gun!"
Missus:" Don't even think about it."
Me: "I know, but it is a great gun."
Sales guy: "They are great guns and the price ain't bad."
Missus:" Don't even think about it. I mean it."
Me: "Yes dear I know. But Hon, this is Jack Bauer's gun."
Missus: "And when you make as much as Keiffer Sutherland you can get one."

So I was dragged, kicking and screaming out of the gun shop, but I do understand now the SIG thing.
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

What caliber??? I love my 226 in .40S&W. I've never had one issue with any ammo I've EVER fed it. It still looks like a NIB SIG.

Glad you ''see the light'' now Miggy!!

In fact whether 226, 228 or 220 - all of which I have and love .. there is ''something'' about them.

Not for all maybe but many sure do like 'em. And I am one

I have been lusting after a (slightly) used 40 cal 239 for the last several months at one of my local shops... so much that the dealer has put it back in the bottom of one of the safes, with my name on it! He knows I'll buy it sooner or later...I can't help myself

I have a 229 in 9mm and a 220 in .45. Both are first rate in every way.

Sigs and women......most men will never forget their first time with one.

I have pawed at the Sigs, but never shot one or really considered one for purchase. Maybe I should give one a test run.

I purchased my first Sig at the Fall Tulsa gun show in 2006. It was the less expensive Sig Pro 2022 in .40. My Baby Eagle .40got me started on DA and .40 cal and I've never looked back. They both shoot great but the Sig out shines te sig due to it's night sights and polymer frame making it somewhat lighter. With the Crossbreed holster it's a great combo that I stake my life on every day.

I carry a Kimber Ultra Carry II in a Crossbreed SuperTuck. My wife carries a Walther PPS .40 w/Crossbreed holster.
