This is a discussion on Glock 38,39 within the Defensive Carry Guns forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; I did a search and came up empty; so does anyone have any input on the Glock 38 and 39? Thanks....

I have followed the 38-39 with great interest. From posts by those who have been shooting them they seem to be real 'winners'. I think the .45 GAP is here to stay for a very long time.
Very Sweet! Although I like both, I find the G39 platform to be more versatile. As the old saying goes: the mileage on your horse may vary.....

I know of several folks that have switched over to them and been very happy. One of which is a grouchy old guy at a local shop that never seems to be happy about anything but he raves about his.

Thanks for the info guys. I will be checking out the G39 at the fall Tulsa Gun Show.
Thank you QKShooter. I have certainly enjoyed our conversations.Originally Posted by QKShooter
The G39, being compatable with the 8 rnd G38 and the 10 rnd G37 mags, sure make for one versatile .45 system. You can choose to carry the larger mags as back-up or in the G39 as primary. Nice!
Of course the same can be said for the G26 9mm and the G27 .40. and even the G30 with a G21 mag.
edit to add- Sorry, I forgot about the G33 357sig.....
