Went to the Raleigh gunshow this past weekend and somehow a new member of the family followed me home It was a gorgeous little Taurus PT1911. Just when I thought everything was stable (no more holsters, extra mags, etc.), up pops another. The last holster (Brigade M11) I had on order shows up on the doorstep yesterday. Now I have to start all over again Whether or not to get leather or kydex, IWB or OWB. Decisions...decisions, Oh woe is me...
No sir, its blued w/ wood grips (the black grips were included also) and no light rail. But other than that...its loaded. Ambi safety, beavertail, vented trigger/hammer. No night sights, but I'll change that before too long. What type of holster(s) do you use for it?

Nice pick. I've had mine (black grips) for about ten months. So far, with about 10,000 rounds through it I'm happy to say things are spot on! The gun shot a bit left at first, but I dry-fired it LOTS and was patient with things. It is now as accurate as any of my other 1911s. Congrats!

right now its just a galco OWB, but im still thinking about ordering a Dakota Defender for it sometime soon
Has anyone had probs with the mag feeding w/ 8 rds in it? I bought some Ranger SXT's for it, but it won't feed if mag is at compacity. No prob w/ 7 rds. Its feeds FMJ w/ no problems w/ a full mag.

Mine doesn't like the 7-rd mags! Can't be anything do to with capacity, though. I think quality mags always make the difference. Have you tried a Wilson 8-rounder? The two mags that come with the gun aren't so hot (IMO)
