Carry gun---I want the same trigger pull each and every time, and I don't want to have to remember to take off the safety. Pull trigger go BANG...

I carry 3 different weapons a Teltec 380, a S&W 642, and a Sig P239 40. Because I want them to be the same I have DAO on all 3. Just squeeze the trigger, nothing else to do.

I like to keep it simple and the same with each trigger pull. I carry an XD45c or a Glock 22. I know someone is going to point out that the XD and Glock are different trigger systems. However both just squeeze and they go bang.

Ditto on the last two comments...in the heat of the battle, under extreme pressure, split second decisions...DAO.

Personally i want either a dao or sao handgun . I am really not picky on which , but i do appreciate a consistent trigger pull for every shot .

Two weeks ago I'd have said DA/SA or one of the striker fired guns, e.g. M&P. But I decided to test myself and my guns, the results are here:

    I started with DOA, and now have a hybrid (P3AT), a SA (1911), and a DA/SA (CZ40B).

That being said I really like the DA/SA, I really like SA pulls. By carrying with the hammer down, there's no need to worry about the safety (it won't even allow the safety to engage), so it's no real difference from DOA.

On the subject of safeties, my DA/SA (S&W 915) has one as part of the decocker but it is never engaged. I drop the hammer and immediately move the decocker up to "fire". Then the weapon is holstered and carried hammer down and off safe.

I like the DA/SA trigger on my FNP9. No safety, 8 lb DA trigger, 3-4 lb SA trigger

I prefer the DAO style. Only one trigger pull to get used to.

DAO. Of all the DAO handguns that I have, I shoot the best with my Glocks. You either love or hate their trigger pull. I happen to love them.

I also prefer DAO. I want my autos...P3AT and PT145 to work just like my GP100 and 642.

An older Beretta was DA/SA...I was fine with that. I prefer the SA only for my EDC (Kimber Ultra)...
What ever you are used to...should work just fine!
