Well I went out to the gun show this last weekend. I went there trying to find a glock 29 or a stainless p220. As it somehow always turns out, unless im buying new, came home with a different gun than I set out to get. Im usually happy with what I end up with thankfully. I looked at a p220st that I liked alot, but unfortunately we couldn't agree on the price. I was about to give up, buy some ammo, and go home without a new toy this time. Then just as Im getting ready to walk to the door I notice this guy walking around with something that caught my eye. I was a stainless ruger speed six, 2.75" barrel, perfect condition. After looking it over, it seemed like the gun had been used very little if any at all. He wanted $300 for it, which regardless of the condition seemed high. He told me he had dealers offer him $275 and he wouldn't take any less. I thought about it for awhile, and decided to take it. Im happy that I did now, I shoots better than my 4" police service six I had, and I think a very good addition to my collection. I decided to stay and look for some 357 gold dots. I didn't find any gold dots in 357, but I did find the benchmade knife I was searching for. The knife is a 3.75" AFO auto that I gave $200 for (sticker was 289). So all in all, the show was a success for me. So do you all think the speed six sounds like a fair deal?
