Walther PPK 7.65 MM
I'm new to the forum and was told that this was a good site to get info on firearms. I'm looking to inquire about the value of a Walther PPK 7.65 MM (.32Acp) it is blued and appears to be 85 to 90 percent condition. It has WaA359 with an eagle in two spots on the left side and a Eagle over N on the right side barrel and slide. The serial number 37****K. I was told it was in service during WWII. If anyone could help out, let me know. Thanks
I don't have the answer but you can also try:
BTW Welcome to the forum!
Yep, those little eagles are nazi acceptance and proof marks. Assuming the gun is in original condition, it has good collector value, which is to say that it will be worth substantially more than a commercial model in like condition. You'll have to consult the Blue Book or other such source for a current appraisal. The last one I recall seeing was several years ago at a gun show, and the asking price was $650. I remember buying those guns for $25 to $30 back in the late 50's. I wish I had had a little more foresight.
