You romantic devil you. It's the ultimate romantic gift from a man to a woman. I purchased a Beretta Tomcat .32 for my wife for Christmas last year for pocket carry. She thought it was sweet. I almost died 15 years ago and she saved my life. I worry very much about her safety and I couldn't imagine life without her. I have given her advanced threat management, firearms and self defense courses as Xmas gifts over the years. A couple of her antigun girlfriends were agast that she would carry a gun when they felt she would be safer with a cell phone and pepper spray. That's what their husbands got them. She told them their husbands obviously don't care that much about their safety.
