I've only shot three. A Glock 30, a Para Nightwatch Companion and a Springfield GI Micro. I would rank them high to low as glock 30, para, Micro.
Kimber Ultra CDP, SA Micro, Kahr p45

I voted for the HK cause it only had one vote
Seriously though, I don't have any experience with the choices in the poll but at one time owned an HK USP full-size (9mm) and while I got rid of it for something else I wanted, I thought it was very well made and the only problem I had with it was ammo related (Blazer Aluminum)
Didn't choose the XD, cause the compact really isn't compact and I didn't choose the Glock cause I don't like them.
I own and carry a USPc .45
It disappears nicely tucked away in my CTAC!! I carry it almost exclusively during the summer.
I'm a 1911 kind of guy, so I like .45s like the Defender, Ultra Carry, etc.
For myself, it's a Kimber Ultra CDP II and I am totally satisfied with it. However, I am always looking for a Defender or something else interesting. I carried a Combat Commander for years and really appreciate the smaller, lighter .45!
I carry a german p220 no rail. Compact enough to assure I'll hit what I intend to hit.
I didn't vote because I think the SIG P-220 Compact SAS is the cat's behind!

I dont think any of those three choices are bad ones, but I do think the Glock is the best choice out of the three. Its a proven design, and Glock and the rest of the industry does a great job with customer support.
I never have cared much for HK products, but I cant ignore that they do build a quality gun. The XD's... I just dont like them for a number of reasons. I wont go into it because they do have a strong following and thats not what this thread is about.
Here is a little three part test I like... go search for a blown up parts picture for each gun. Pick a random small part from each one... then go try find one you're able to buy. What gun do you think you will be able to purchase that small part quick and easy?

besides a 1911, both of those guys are my 2 fav guns
Of your three? The Glock...
Mine EDC is the Kimber Ultra CDP I. (Part-time EDC = Glock-36)
Stay armed...stay safe!

I've got thousands of rounds down range with the Colt Officers model and the Para P-12 so I have to say I really like those and don't know why the 1911 platform wasn't added.
Of the 3 choices in the poll, I'd have to go with either the Glock or the XD! I think they are about on par with each other.
I didn't vote, because I do like the 1911 platform for .45 acp.

I did not vote because although I have Glock,&HK carry guns, when I carry 45 it's a older Star"PD". The original "light weight officers".![]()
