That's an incredible deal if you've decided on one. Mine is a not-at-work carry:

I don't own one but my partner at work does. What a shooter! For the money I think that the Ed Brown is the best "no-wait" semi-custom 1911 on the market.

Yup-mine is setting on the bench beside me. I rotate carry guns and carried the Kobra Carry this week. The price sounds fine. Go for it. You won't regret it.
I haven't taken pics of mine.

I use all Ed Brown add ons and barrels for my home project Colts and the quality is excellent. I think the Brown barrels are on a par with BarSto. Super nice quality machine work.

You wont reget it....is an understatement...you'll love it

I might sell all my other 16 handguns from HKs to Sigs to Colts, but this wont be one of them.

Shot perfect out of the box is an accurate statement. I think it's the BMW and Mercedes of the 1911s. You'll not wont to part with it.

Mind letting me in on the cousins name and other info. Looks pretty sweet. Are those alumagrips?

And can you get an Ed Brown with a smooth grip safety like my Kimber?

It's an Ed Brown Special Forces Bobtail Commander with Gen III coating and alumagrips.
