Merry Christmas everyone,
I'm thinking about picking up another revolver, and just wanted to get some ballpark prices for what I should be expecting to pay. I live near Philadelphia, PA and about a year ago, I paid $195 for a used 4" model 10, and $325 for a 3" model 13. I'm not sure if prices have jumped around since then, and I'm on the lookout for any of the following:
2" or 3" model 10 s&w
2.5" model 19, 66, or 686 s&w
4" model 19, 66 s&w
2.75" ruger speed or security six
3" ruger gp-100
I am mostly looking for a 2" model 10, and the 2.5" model 19, but just want to get a heads up to be prepared in case I see something else that tickles my fancy. I tend to look for used pieces, definitely shooters and not collectables. I've looked on the gunbroker site to give me an idea of what the going price is, but the prices don't seem to be consistant, and I don't know how much of an indicator an auction is. Thanks for your help!
My last two buys were:
model 60 prelock $320 cash
19-5 nickel 4" tagged at $375 ( but I did some trading )
I'm in NEPA
-SIG , it's What's for Dinner-

"If I walk in the woods, I feel much more comfortable carrying a gun. What if you meet a bear in the woods that's going to attack you? You shoot it."
I paid $350 for a 3" GP100. That was cash, slightly used with box and all the paperwork.
I have for sale or trade a Taurus 85CHSS2 .38 2" snub like new in the original box. Asking $285
Paid $400 OTD for S&W 686-4 mag-na-ported.
Very slick trigger I might add
Why is it that you always find things at the last place you looked?

Thanks for your replies, they'll give me a good gauge to go by.
RB 2" Model 10s and the 2.5" 19/66 command a good price..expect to pay around 400 for a minty 10 and around five bills for a minty 19/66.
