    Christmas Gift

well....my hunch was right. Last night I opened a Kimber Dessert Warrior. I love it. Cant' wait to go shoot it this weekend. Normally i don't make it an hour without shooting a new gun but i am working today and the rest of the week so I guess I will have to wait. This is my first 1911 so I wanted to take it apart just to see hour it comes apart. That is a whole different ball game than my G23, but not to bad. Merry Christmas to All!!!!!!

    Awesome!

It really sucks that you have to work today (and the rest of the week) though. Maybe they'll let you sneak out for some range time.

    Merry Christmas.

my wife bought it for me....this is our first christmas together as husband and wife. I told her she had started a tradition that she must never stop. She said the men at the gun shop were going on and on about how cool it was that she was buying me a 1911 for christmas. I will post up a range report as soon as i can go to a range to shoot it. i will probably just get to try it out on some cans this weekend at the deer lease

As the saying goes, the wrong gun is a better gift than the right pair of socks!

It looks like your wife took it to heart.

Congratulations on your first Christmas together! Here's to many, MANY more. And many more Christmas presents like that, too.!
