Good deal on a GLOCK 19

I just bought a G-19 from a ex workmate for $400.00 With Glock light, 4 mags, a NY 1 spring, 3.5lb connector (both of which I installed for Mr. Mall Ninja, as I like to refer to him behind his back!) and a "Tactical Thigh Rig" hence the Mall Ninja title. I guess the thigh rig will be good when the ZOMBIES come. Shes 7 months old and I've been out with him every time he's shot her. Were lookin at a total of 250 rounds thru her. YAY, finally got a smokin deal on a Glock! Anyhoo, after strippin it down cleaning everything, not that it needed it just something I do with any new gun. I removed the dang finger grooves and back strap stippling. Then out came the soldering iron and the razor knife. I've done a few guns and this I feel is my best work. Not necessarily looks but function. Looks pretty swell too. I think it took me about 3.5 hours to do this one. I used a fine wood burning tip and I filed it to a sharp point. Just tap, tap, tapparoo! I then burned a letter system on each of my mags so I can tell them apart. Now that I'm workin at a gun shop part time I'm gonna stock up on mags, at $13.00 a piece new I gotta have LOTS (especially if Hillary gets into office!) After I finish paying off my Mini I'm going to get a set of XS standard dot sights and a lasermax for the G-19. Yes I know I suck at photography.

Nice job on the grips. Did you also narrow the trigger guard near the mag release? Add the standard dot 24/7's and you'll have the ideal carry gun. Now I have gun envy.

He or someone, also rounded the front of the trigger guard too. Look's good!

Thanks for the compliments. I did round and undercut the trigger guard. It grips a lot better now.

Looks great! I've always wanted to hold/shoot a gun with such grip mods. If you plan on carrying it, what holster are you going to use? I would imagine that grip modification could be uncomfortable when carrying IWB with certain holsters.(skin/frame contact)

I carry in the Appendix position and most of the time I use a belly band sometimes a Don Hume 715 soot (snap on open top). I usually have a undershirt on but even if I don't it's not to abrasive. I do know it's there.

Here are some others I've done.

    My 1st Gen G17

    My P32

    I did a Glock 26 for a buddy a while back but I didn't get any pics.
