I've always wanted a Pro Carry. I defeinitely want an all steel gun for longevity reasons. I just can't justify dropping that kind of money on a gun that I'm going to have to work with to make it function reliably. I'll probably take the plunge one of these days but there are just too many reliable guns out there I'd like to have.

As a rule, 1911s are very accurate. Tight tolerenaces and design make them that way, but with it often comes sacrificed reliability.

I have a Kimber Tac Ultra II. I love the thing to death so far. Have had it to the range twice since my wife got it for me for Christmas. I have replaced the original mag with two Wilsons, and have had 0 issues witht he Wilson mags, a few feeding problems with the original mag, through 250 rounds.

This is my ProCarry II and it has been a 100% performer with the standard mag. I now use Wilson 7 rounders to keep the factory mag follower from dinging the alloy frame. The ProCarry is an excellent weapon and I highly recommend it.

I have carried a Pro Carry II for over 3 years and it's a great pistol. I've shot 2300 rds thru mine and it's been 100% reliable out of the box. I use Wilson 47Ds with it and they have all worked great also. I have the alloy frame model and the lite weight makes it a joy to carry all day. It's extremely accurate, my first eight rounds went into a group less than 1 in, I don't shoot well enough to max it's accuracy. The best I can do is 5 shots at 45 ft into a 1.25 in group. My usual groups run more to the 2 - 4 inch size at the same range. They are great guns!!

A 45 may not expand but it will never be smaller than .45!!!

I wish they came with checkering on the frontstrap. I'm looking at getting 30LPI done with my hard chrome.

I Love the Pro Carry. It likes to eat Gold Dots and but not any Win Clean. I had a Chip McCormack (spelling?) 8 round mag but trusted my Kimber Tac II much more. I added Meprolites and for pretty course sites I could still keep the shots placed well out to 25 yards. I have lost count of how many rounds over the years but the frame shows no sign of wearing out. I do have to say that now that I own the PPS I don't carry the kimber any more.

The Pro Carry is awesome. I have a Pro Eclipse (Custom) KRE-model. When I bought it, it was previously sent to Springdale Gunworks for their carry treatment. Accuracy, for a 4 inch barrel, is scary. Total reliability.
