Thats high. It should be in the 600 to 675 range for the blackend slide and night sights.

I picked up my PM9 (black w/DLC treatment and night sights) locally for $650 OTD. The shop ordered it for me so it came brand spankin' new, still in the box. While shopping for it I noticed a lot of high prices out there. Definitely shop around.

No night sights either. Factory night sights on the PM 9 will usually add another $75ish.

My local Gander Mountain in upstate NY has two stainless (not black) PM9s for sale. You ready for this....$800 w/out NS and $900 w/ NS. Pricing has a lot to do with geographical location. Other, more reasonable shops around here would sell a black PM9 w/ NS for mid $700's. But that's just pricing in one Nazi state.

I agree, there's a lot of regional variation. In my area, the reputable shops worth doing business with sell PM9's for around $700, and $775 without/with NS respectively. I see them for far less on sites like gunbroker all the time but I believe in supporting my local G/Shop.

Yeah, I agree about supporting your local guy if he treats you right and offers fair, reasonable prices. When mine quoted me $650 OTD (including tax and on my CC) I had to question him if he had the right model since all the other local shops were around $100 more. Needless to say, I jumped all over that. He had it to me within a week. Nice, clean, no hassle deal. Now, I'm looking to get a Dan Wesson Classic Bobtail 10mm from him. If his price is good on it (I'm looking for $900-950 OTD), he'll be getting another sale to me. I'm not going to split hairs for a few bucks with places like Gunsamerica.com or gunbroker.com if my local guy can take care of me like that.

Well,I checked gunbroker and found one with satin looking slide for $607+25 shipping plus 20 for my ffl, total $652,here its $729 plus tax of 60=789,so thats a savings of $137 which is good, however I am going to a gun show tomorrow and I will see what I can find.If I can't find one to beat that lower price, then I will come home and order that one off the internet from gunbroker.I'm hoping I can find something tomorrow.sj

I got mine for $650 about 4 months ago. I got it from Jensen Arms in Loveland, CO. Try getting their number from jensenarms.com and calling them. It was the cheapest DLC coated PM9 with night sights I have ever found. Good luck!

I got mine from here ...
    http://www.ordnanceoutsellers.com/index.htm

The price has gone up some since I ordered mine
    S, H, and insurance added about $25
    My FFL added $15.

The big problem was finding an independent FFL,
as my local gun shops refuse to handle internet sales.

What about a CW9 instead of the PM9? Granted it is a tad larger and you can't get the nite-sights, but around here the price is $389. + tax. That is about $300 less than the PM9. And you'll notice the difference only if you front pocket carry.
