kahr K9 v P9
I am planning on getting a K9 or a P9. What I have found out about reading
K9
- heavier
- non-elite trigger (purchase separate as option)
+ less reliability problems
P9
+ lighter
+ elite-trigger out of the box
- reliability issues. e.g., metal mag w/ plastic mag release
I plan on using this for 2 purposes, (1) for when I give basic pistol instruction for NRA (gotta love the Kahr discount) and (2) for smartcarry wear while working out at the gym.
With my purposes in mind, can you think of anything additional I have not mentioned or contradictory to what I have mentioned that would be helpful to me in making a purchase decision.
Thanks.

get the P9. For what you want it for (espeically carry in the smartcarry holster) the lighter the better. The only thing you get with the K9 is its easier to shoot +P loads and it can also handle +P+ loads with no issues.
To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them.

K9 is my edc and it's a great gun, but I think I'd lean towards the lighter weapon for a smartcarry too.

If you hadn't mentioned the Smartcarry, I'd have said K9 all the way.

Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .
