Don't mean to sound stupid but, what is a GSSF member? Never heard of it.

The membership is $35.00 if you are not already a member. With the membership you get Glock Annual, and can participate in all the Glock matches for $10.00. It is definately worth it just for the discount...if you like Glocks.

They offer a special service discount as well for firemen, police, military etc. It is in the same discount realm.

Yes, I have used my LEO discount before and it is great. Though usually you have to wait for the LEO only gun to be sent, if you use the GSSF discount you get a stock gun. My LEO discount was $100.00 and my GSSF discount was $125.00. (Though you can only use one)

I used to be a GSSF member. I got a good deal on one of Glock's GSSF anniversary issue G17's for a friend. I believe it cost around $425 or so. At the time, (about five years ago), I had so many, I just let the FFL dealer purchase it. You get the yearly newsletter, and the yearly Glock magazine. I may become a member again. Anyone who buys a new Glock pistol should have a registration form in the box. That is good for $25 the first year as an introductory membership. It's worth it in my book.

Yup. Other than plain old good will, I wonder why they do extend it to active military too.

Perhaps as a sign of appreciation for those that put everything on the line so all of us can sleep soundly at night??

G_d Bless our military, past . . . present . . . and future. They deserve a lot more than discounts on products!
