Gonna build me a new Commander

Gonna build me a new Commander. Some would say WHY? It would be cheaper to just buy one. Well its the same reason I build my own Harley - because I can. Thinking on using a Caspian Slide and frame. Has anyone used these parts before? And if so how do you like them and how do they compare to others. it will cost me well over $1000 to build, at least that is what I am figuring.

Caspain frames and slides are great, a lot of the industry uses them.

Fusion Firearms also sells frame and slide kits at a pretty good price.

WOW... after looking at FUSION I may have to go that route and save a bundle.

I built a commander out of an Essex frame and slide and it has been great. No problems at all.

I believe that Fusion has two different frames. One is cast and the other forged. Fusion has some great quality stuff. Their slides are all CNC machined from bar stock. I've used some of their parts and they are excellent quality.
