    Slide On G22

    If I shake my gun (unloaded of course)
    is the slide supposed to slightly rattle?

    You can shake it when it fully loaded too, you know. Not like it will spontaneously discharge. Glocks shake all day when they are worn holstered. Just keep your booger hook of the the bang switch and pointed in a safe direction when you do it.

    Mine only shakes when the striker has been released. When the slide is racked and ready to go, there is no noise. After dry firing it sounds like a family of dwarves lives in there. "click, click, tink......"

    Once you get a few thousand rounds through it, you will notice two peen marks on the inside of the slide near the rails. This is normal too and is caused by contact with the locking block.
