I have a 9mm Tranfaglio EAA Witness. Every time I tell someone I have one they look at me like. Its a good gun, and I love it. Never had any problems with it. It holds dang near 20 rounds, but no one seems to have heard of it. It's made in Italy and Its very similar to a lot of the CZ (European) style handguns.

Nope a budy of mine has a Witness Hunter in 10mm. I almost bought a used one in .45 that came with the .22 conversion kit.

I've heard of them plenty, they are a CZ clone, just like the Para, Springfields are Colt 1911 clones. Although I have never shot one, from what I have read they are a well built and accurate gun. Don't worry about people not knowing about them. It helps keep the price down!!

I just got a Tanfoglio BTA 90 in 9mm. I like the way it feels in my hand but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

Actually I know quite a few people with them (at least four, two of which carry for a living). They seem nice. I've shot a few of them. My gun shop of choice simply doesn't sell them so they've never been big on my radar.

Got one in 10mm and love it!
However I did have to have a gunsmith polish the feed ramp for more reliable feeding.

I have one in .45. It's pretty accurate and is uber comfortable to shoot, but has some reliablity issues im working through so it's a non carry. Slide locks back about every 3rd or 4th shot.
Tanfoglio also makes parts for the magnum research baby eagle which I also have. I love CZ clones so much kinda sad I dont have a CZ yet.
