    First production run pistols

Are first production run pistols worth anything more than the preceding ones? I mean--would you rather have the FPR pistol, or any subsequent pistols of the same make/model? If it means anything, it's a SIG P220R45TSSSAO just like the one I have, but the 'First Production Run' is etched on the slide. In my book, he's asking a ridiculously low price for it. And I think he's down to his dealer's price on it. He wants to sell it, so I think a trade would be out of the question. Would this be a buy for a 'safe keeper' and never fired (as a collectible), or just a better pistol to have because it's special and recognized? I already have mine, and I finally went to shoot it tonight. Best 45 auto I've ever shot, with the exception of the 1911 models. I've got the trigger down just like the Glocks reset. 200 rounds of hardball, and fifty rounds of Winchester 230gr JHP PP, 8 rounds of Golden Saber and five 185gr Hydra Shok. One of the best decisions I've ever made--traded my G-30 for it +$100.

There have been many new products...guns included, that have had big problems during the first year...usually fixed, but problems for sure.

I'd rather let someone else struggle with the 'unproven' devices...
The last Blood Moon Tetrad for this millennium starts in April 2014 and ends in September 2015...according to NASA.

I've made a fortune on first-run Clackamas Kimbers.
