    1st 1911 (pic)

Bought my first 1911 today. Ended up picking up a S&W 1991PD commander length. I put 200rounds of FMJ through it today and it ran like a champ. I can see why people fall in love with 1911s!

Love S&W revolvers (5ea.) and really like the look of your 1911. Have 2 Springfield 1911's, one full size and a Champion but might have to invest in another Smith of the semi auto type for the collection. Make that will invest. Nice gun!

Very nice indeed! The longer I'm here, the more I miss a 1911 pistol. One thing about it though---if I had one again, all my others wouldn't get to see carry like they do now. I've got alot of options now, and I sort of like that. Is there a support group for previous 1911 owners who are subject to being around current 1911 owners? Threads like this are kind of like second hand smoke to me after I've quit. Know what I'm sayin'?

congrats , but carefull 1911s have been known to be addictive lol .
Make sure you get full value out of today , Do something worthwhile, because what you do today will cost you one day off the rest of your life .

You made a BIG mistake now...you're addicted! There is only one cure, more 1911's...you'll see!

    Nice addition to the 'family'.
