If this is a brand new Sig, be sure to clean the inside of the mags before you go to the range. I was amazed the amount of the sticky goo that was inside. Clean it well before shooting and you'll enjoy every minute. I've now had mine a month or so and love it.

Thats the one... and I bought it used for a pretty good price. Found some listed cheaper on Gun Broker, but I like the support and attention I get at my local gun store.

I got to shoot one last week. Nice little gun. I like the DAK trigger a bit more everytime I shoot one. Even looks nice...for a Sig!

I love the rounded corners of the SAS pistols. Please give a range report when available.

you know you could have gotten one new on budsgunshop.com for 831 new and delivered. not that i would complain either way =o). that is one of the options that i am looking at getting. just not sure if it will be the reg 239 or that SAS. Not sure if the SAS is worth the extra money.

I have a p-239 in 40 S&W; you didn't mention what caliber yours is. The Sig is a tack driver! You're going to love it! Congrats!

Yeah... mine is in 40 S&W too... I got the Bersa 380 first and got a little spoiled with its light weight and small size, then I got the Ruger SR9 which is just a blast to shoot except I found I don't like double stack ammo mags, and now I decided to step up to a 40... and this Sig P239 just spoke to me. I saw it at the shop yesterday, went home... couldn't stop thinking about it and went and bought it today.

Thinking my next purchase will be a S&W 442 or 642. Then an XD in 45... and then... and then... and then finding a way to hide them all from the wife:)

Got me a big gun safe a long time ago. I'll tell ya, if my wife knew what I had in there.....
