I bought a .22 Browning Buckmark pistol from my dad in 1990. It sits in the safe as I type.

    Purchased it for myself.
Sold it during the dark times of unemployment and I still miss it.

First? Hmmm - guess in truth that was a Russian (now called Baikal) target .22 semi - not bad for starters. Forget any model name. Bought IIRC around 1980 but long gone as I traded it for a Walther GSP target .22 . apples and oranges (including price tag!).

Let me loose tho to include my first centerfire ...... that was Smith M27-2 in .357 .... bought I guess 1981 . No longer have that one thanks to putrid UK Gov in 1997 - but was lucky enough to find its replacement five years ago or so. Still have that and it's in the ''cannot sell'' category!

    4" Colt Diamondback
    1973
    Sold it in 1988.
Recently found 60 reloads I had done for it. The more I think about it, the more I miss it.

Springfield XD-40 4". Still have it, shoot it whenever possible. Never had a single FTF, FTE, jam, misfeed, stovepipe, or anything else. Got it from my Father-in-law in 2006, he bought it new in 2004 or 2005. Since he bought it, I'm the only to ever have shot it (aside from people I hand it to at the range.)

First handgun was a S&W 9MM model 6904. I bought it in ~1987. Wish I had kept it.

It was a Beretta 92FS and I got it in 1992. It was a lot of money for a guy in high school but it has been worth every penny. WOULD NEVER think of selling it.
