    Ditto
But if I read this post right this type of gun is not unusual. They had on the history chennel a documentery of the history of guns. Man they had some weird ones too! My fav was the "Duck Foot Gun", it had 6 barrels side by side and fired together. As a matter of fact there was a video on youtube about a cell phone gun.

Kind of like the squeeze pistols I read about, where it was like the grip strengthener you squeezed it to fire the round from a barrel that fit between your fingers. Not that practical but definitely creative.

Got the link now. Cute, but would be pretty bulky to wear! Maybe if you kept it in your pocket and just inserted the finger when needed...
Looks like it's a manual advance revolver. That would take quite some dexterity and practice.

Interesting. Looks like something James Bond would have.

Mid 1800s, I think? Pinfires were one of the intermediaries between muzzle-loaders, paper cartridges, and the fully cased cartridge. Pretty cool little device. Turned inward, its a heavy steel knuck; flip it around and toggle it with your thumb to give a terminal headache.

I don't know if that would be a legal home-project or not. I'd get a clarification from the ATF, to make sure it wouldn't be an AOW. If ti was "clear," here's an interesting modern accessory:

Little gun, but pretty useless for self defense.
