Well, I like the short trigger. The only problem I have with it is my finger is large enough to extend over the bottom of the trigger. The bottom edge of the trigger digs into my finger.

If you don't have that problem, I think you'll be pleased with the short trigger.

LOL! I think the formal definition of 'selling a gun' is something you do in a moment of stupidity and regret the rest of your life. LOL!!

I can't find the pics right now, but they are available in a black phosphate coating or a anti-friction coating.

I'll see if I can run down some pics when I have more time.

Plus, I don't know if Greg has them, but Mecgar has 15 round mags for a 228. I PRESUME they are flush fit.

Thanks for the info on the 18 rounders for the Sig 228. I will be emailing gusaoz today on these. I picked up my first Sig ( a 228 ) that was brand new in the box although produced in 98. Anyway, per the post by Tangle the MecGar mags that are 15 rounders do fit flush in a 228. I ordered them from [url=http://www.topgunsupply.com] . Top Gun is great to deal with and the mags are great.

I am in the small hands category as well. I put the short trigger on my P220, then I also got the new SIG factory slim grips (I got mine through Top Gun). I really like the feel of the gun now, and have noticed a big difference with that combo.

Good to hear. I also purchased a set of Slim Grips from Top Gun and plan on putting them on the gun when it returns.

JrHawk, did you mean 18 rounders for the 226 instead of 229?

You can get MecGar mags that will carry 16.

    Tangle,

I also just picked up a 220 carry the other day. In researching the newer 220's Sig is producing, it seems they are having feeding issues with some of the guns over at the Sig Forum.

Seems the consensus is the extractor being too tight and needing adjustment thats the cause.

I'm going to put 500 through mine next Tuesday, and hope for the best that mine doesn't have to go back to NH for repair for any reason.

How many rds do you have through yours? and have you experienced any problems whatsoever with feeding or last rd not feeding reliably with the 8 rd mags?
