    grade me on a trade

I just traded an eotech I had $385.00 in for a
glock 22 w/ns, 7 mags,ms summer special holster and ms mag pouch.
It's a gen II with houge grip.
This will be my first glock, it should be in wed. just bought 100 rounds of win white box to get to know it.
It has a wolf 19# spring and ss guide rod.
    Did I get a deal.

Well seems you did good to me, but I would think that glock is going to have about 4-7k rounds put through it, may have been better off getting a new one, but with all the extras I think you did good, if its your first glock dont be upset if there are a few problems (remember there is a reason the person traded)

I'd rather have the EOTech, but that's because I'm just not a Glock guy. I have one, but don't shoot it nearly as much as any of my other pistols.

My AR's get a good workout, however, and that EOTech is just the ticket.

Breaking it down, though, I think you got a good deal, considering the money spent ($385 for gun, mags, holster!). You done good.

If you like the Gen 2 G22, I do, it's a good trade. You basically got all the extras with the gun for the price of a used G22, at least around here anyway. Unless I had a need for the EOTech, I'd have made the trade. I like G22s a bunch. I wouldn't worry much about the round count, I put 2-2.5k a year through mine for more than 6 years and it held up fine. I bought it almost 17 years ago and it's working fine for a relative now.

I think you got a good deal. A good used 2nd gen G22 in my area would go at about $400.00 then you got all the extras.
6 or 7k rounds through it? heck it's just starting to get broke in.
for me the Glock has to be the easiest gun to work on and detail strip, there is nothing on a Glock that will cost a arm or a leg if for some odd reason you need to replace something. Will you be getting the original parts off the gun as well?
You are going to love your new to you Glock, be for warned, you will have another.

you did ok. the gun looks like it has holster wear. when you get it break in down, all the way down. take the trigger group out, the firing pin group out and clean it up. this is not hard to do, there are site that will show you how. you need nothing special to break down a glock. a glock will shoot many rounds before anything goes wrong. more rounds than most people will ever shoot.
