I had to make a stop at the local grocery store and stopped by the magazine section. While perusing some magazines I saw one that indicated that Glock was going to make a Glock 30 SF. I had to look at the article. Now I have to wait for the local gun range to obtain one of these models. Then I can do a comparison between the XD-45 compact and this revised Glock model. I figure this will answer my question as to which to add to my collection next.

Glock 19/FEG/FM HiPowers/Keltec P32 for me. When I can't use my 870,N98 or Marlin .30-30 of course...
Since they have started making the SF models, I have become more interested in getting a Blo.....uummm.....Glock

The first rule of gunfighting should be to know when the gunfight starts - being the last one to get the news certainly won't put the odds in your favor.
For the Glock Uneducated that would be SF (Slim Frame) NOT Select Fire.

I was motivated to do a Web search on this, and this is the best photo I could find (although the fine print says the photo is a 21SF, not a 30SF). As usual, Glock is a little retarded on their press releases. The gun is 10 rounds with a "slim frame" compared to the usual Glock 30. It has a Picatinny rail under the barrel and ambi magazine release.

I might actually carry a .45 if these come out and are nice fitting guns like the 23.

Remember. the width of the gun isn't slimmer than the regular 30. They just made the front to back grip measurement a bit less.
What is a Glock? Just kidding, it's been a long day.

The one thing I don't like about all these new variations Block is that finding magazines for them is going to be a pain. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to stock up on magazines - but now I don't know what ones to get. I don't even own a Glock yet...
Its actually "short frame". They have them in the new GLOCK Annual. I also heard there is an article in the new Combat Handguns about it.
