I have a 629 in 3 inch from 1989. I do carry it sometimes in the boonies.

Very Nice. Occasionally I'll carry my Kahr P9 and Seecamp LWS .32 in a pocket holster. Between both of them they are less than two pounds loaded.

There's something about classy revolvers that can't be duplicated by autos. I favor autos and that's what I carry, but those two revolvers sure are handsome firearms.

Nice carry duo, but in the "towns" I frequent, I want the more powerful weapon in town! Well, actually, both weapons in town!

Nice revolvers! Here are two of mine that I carry in and outta town. Left one is a .44 LH 29 and a 66-2 on the right. No problem controlling the 66 with full house loads but the .44 is an animal so save the heavy loads for carry. Both look much better in person. Suck at taking pic's. Love S&W's, especially 3"'rs. Looking for a
3" 657 to add to my Smith collection.

I, too, love the 3" Smith's! I have a 3" J frame but since it is a .32 Long it is a little anemic for carrying. Looks good though! I would love a snubby 66. My 66 has a 4 inch barrel and a SB. The K frames with SB's just don't carry as nicely as the RB models.

Looking real good. I have some of those wood grips on my 642 and really like them.
