traded up even,great deal...
well i finally had settled that i was getting a cz75 after much reading and thought on the matter, well my friend has a safe full of pistols and he let me rummage through it saturday.and i went home with a never shot ruger p89t grey frame blue slide with stainless trigger, hammer and barrell traded even for one of my surplus m48a yugoslovian 8mm rifles that was all covered in grease figured i did pretty descent ,it has hogue finger groove grips and it fills real nice in the hand.also got 400 rounds of adcom u.a.e united arab emerites 9mm m887 ball ammo, traded for 200 rounds of 8mm surplus.will see how she shoots now.figured i had about 175.00 in my rifle, the pistol was made in 1999.

Sounds like a fair trade, I really like P series Rugers.

yeah the slide has some splatter spots from something on the sides and ive been polishing the blue with a little remoil and i run out so i got my wifes trusty 3in 1 oil and its slowly polishing out and looking good ,i guess moisture gets in a safe too its almost like a bank vault in his car shop.but my star bm has somebody to play with now.still cant believe how good those hogue finger groove grips fill on the ruger though.

I think you made a good pick there. You'll enjoy that P89.

It's one tough pistol. I gave mine to my stepson.
