Shot-placement is king. Adequate penetration is queen. Everything else is angels dancing on the heads of pins.

I don't have a way to post pics tonight, but here's a link to the auction with pictures. The gun is highly polished except for the top. The grips are gorgeous. It doesn't appear to have had a hard life.

thats a nice looking 65...besides the finish, what other custom touches does it have? Any advise on leather for it?

Real nice. Just got a m-65-3, 3'' barrel, new in box, then had Nelson Ford do a action job on it.Now I'am looking for leather.

Andy, that's the inexpensive hard nylon "Hideout" stock that you can buy from Brownell's on my gun.It turns out that it points very naturally in my hand and conceals very well . . . but it's not the best thing for recoil. Truth is, it hurts pretty good when I launch a hot one. But, I carry the gun more than I shoot it, so they work for me.
